Notes; This is KB's Portable Discomatic Jukebox record player. It became known as "John Lennon's Jukebox" because of photos of John with one of these Jukeboxes in the background. It was often seen with the Beatles whilst they were on tour..

It can be loaded with 40 x 7 inch 45rpm records. The upper beige buttons select the right hand side and the lower grey the left side of each record, giving a total of 80 selections.

The player mechanism was manufactured by a Swiss company called Gerinvex.

A selection of  spares for the Discomatic, and advice with problems is available from Stuart McGregor; http://www.askstuart.co.uk/discomatic.htm
